Jaap Branderhorst donates kidney to his brother Kees.

Our double-bass-player Jaap Branderhorst, who plays in ‘Sexteto Canyengue’ since 2005 and in the ‘Kraayenhof Tango Ensemble’ from the start, donates today a kidney to his brother Kees.

We wish him, his brother and family lots of strength with the operation and a successful recovery.

In the months May and June Jaap will be replaced in ‘Sexteto Canyengue’ and the ‘Kraayenhof Tango Ensemble’ by Diederik Meijnckens (a.o. double-bass-player in Rotterdam Sinfonia.

We hope that Jaap will return save and sound in the midle of August.
