Carel Kraayenhof, the Residentie Orchestra and Sexteto Canyengue

Carel Kraayenhof and Sexteto Canyengue will give three concerts this weekend together with the Residentie Orchestra. Conductor is Enrique Diemecke, born in Mexico, now living in Buenos Aires.For program-info see our concert-agenda.This is the first weekend that we will work with our new soundman Ken Kuipers who, guided by Marty Brugmans, in the next season will be responsable for the sound in the halls during our concerts.

After the weekend Carel will prepare for his performance in the Lincoln Centre in New York on 21 January. There he will accompany the famous violinist Joshua Bell in the composition Oblivion by Astor Piazolla. This performance, in which also the singer Sting will cooperate, will be live broadcasted in the United States by PBS.Meanwhile we are occupied with the preparations of the second half of our theatre-concert ‘Compassion’, which will travel the country from 28 February.From 7 until 13 February we will together with Classic FM organize actions to bring this tour under the attention of the public.In these actions a.o. VIP-cards for Compassion can be won. Keep an eye on the website ClassicFM.nl!Don’t forget to make reservations for this tour. Delft is sold out and in Laren a restricted amount of tickets is still available.
