Concertgebouw says goodbye to Anneke Hogestijn

Yesterday-evening Carel Kraayenhof and Thirza Lourens attended the goodbye-party of artistic director of the Concertgebouw, Anneke Hogestijn. It was a beautiful and moving happening in the Kleine Zaal of this musictemple. With magnificent performances of the Belcea Kwartet, the pianist Julius Drake, the baritone Henk Neven and a fascinating part from the performance ‘De verb(l)azing’ by Orkater/Foudation Oorkaan with a.o. Beppe Costa.Amsterdam Sinfonietta was represented by a performance of leader Candida Thompson, double-bassplayer Erik Stotijn and pianist Julius Drake. Presenter and ‘Voice of the Concertgebouw’ ,Hans van den Boom, played with the audience the quiz ‘Cap on, cap off’. That was really hilarious!The whole evening was presented in an agreable manner full of humour and warmth by Simon Reinink, the director of the Concertgebouw.We will miss Anneke!
