Marty Brugmans new sound-technician Carel Kraayenhof

From 1 January Marty Brugmans will temporary be the new head-technician of Carel Kraayenhof and Sexteto Canyengue.In the months to come he will train a new soundman who in the future will accompany our ensemble at home and abroad.

Marty is the crewleader of Bløf since 1998. He takes care of all the technical issues in the halls where they play and also he is responsible for those issues during tv- and radio-performances.In live-concerts Marty mixes the sound for the halls and he always is standing near ‘the front of the house’.Besides his work during the performances Marty is, from the recording of ‘Blauwe Ruis’, closely involved in the recording of all Bløf-CD’s. Also he is responsible for the technique of the recordings they have made abroad for the UMOJA-project and for the logistics of all the gear that has to be flewn in or rented.We are very happy that we are allowed to lend Marty in between from Bløf!
