Traditional New Years concert in Woudrichem

The traditional New Year concert since 1998 is the largest and most successful fundraising event of the Lions Club “land van Heusden en Altena”. It always takes place in early January in the beautiful Gothic Reformed Church in the Fortress Woudrichem. The concert committee is responsible for the overall New Years Event. Top performers guarantee a festive event that attracts hundreds of  interested people each year from. Next year we’ll try to make the ‘complete package’ even more attractive to sponsors and the public through the activities before and after the concert and more press attention. On this New Year’s concertKraayenhof Tango Ensemble (7 musicians) performs, a program that is characterized by melancholic melodies, interspersed with violent tango beat and contemporary compositions.

The proceeds of the usual New Year’s concert will go to charity, this year is that a home for the elderly in the region, which home that is will be announced on the evening itself.
