With Sinfonia Rotterdam in Novosibirsk

When people think of Siberia then the bandoneon is certainly not the first thing that comes up in someones mind, but with a average temperature of maximum -11 in December, the bandoneon will surely warm up many Russian hearts. In December Carel Kraayenhof will be working with Sinfonia Rotterdam and conductor Conrad van Alphen to (amognst others) some self composed pieces. On December 5th Carel travels with the orchestra to Novosibirsk to play their first concert on December 7th. Novosibirsk is the third biggest city in Russia and located at the banks of the Ob river. The second concert is on December 8th in Akademgorodok (academy-city). Akademgorodok is a cultural and scientific keypoint for the region and the country, also the Russian Academy of Science is located here. After this second concert Carel Kraayenhof will travel back to Holland to continue his Dutch tour with Sinfonia Rotterdam.
