Kraayenhof Tango Ensemble is coming to Breda!

On October 9th , November 6th, and even twice on November 27th the Kraayenhof Tango Ensemble will be playing at the Grand Theatre in Breda with the new show PURE.

The seven-piece ensemble, with bandoneon, piano and string quartet, plays the “nuevo tango” repertoire, a modern approach to the Argentinean tango music, introduced by maestro Astor Piazzolla. The program ‘Pure’ is characterized by melancholy melodies, interspersed with a fierce tango beat and contemporary compositions.

In April 2011 the renovation of the Grand Theatre was ready. The original ceiling, the walls and even the great hall are again as they would have looked in 1921. To enjoy one of these lunchtime concerts at the Grand Theatre on Sunday it is possible to have a ‘Brabantsche brunch’ in the ‘The Grand’.
