Bremen ready for Carel Kraayenhof and Sexteto Canyengue
Carel Kraayenhof and his manager Thirza Lourens arrived in Bremen last Thursday for the festival ‘Musikfest Bremen’. Carel had his first rehearsal today with Kristjan Järvi’s Absolute Ensemble for the ‘Latin night’ on Wednesday 26 August.Tomorrow the crew and the musicians will arrive in Bremen. In the afternoon they will have a first good rehearsal and soundcheck, before at 19:30 the first concert will take place.Tomorrow three concerts, each 45 minutes, will be given for a varying audience.
The location is beautifully situated in a inner court (Innenhof) at the Domweide 16 in Bremen, in the immediate neighbourhood of the market where the city-musicians (Bremer Stadtmusiker) play their daily melodies.On Sunday the rehearsals for the ‘Latin night’ with Carel and Sexteto Canyengue will continue.Don’t forget to book tickets for ‘Compassion’.
