The National Ballet, Carel Kraayenhof and Sexteto Canyengue

In September and October 2011 Carel Kraayenhof and his Sexteto Canyengue will accompany the known choreographies of Hans van Maanen on the music of Astor Piazzollas ‘5 Tangos’.During this 20 minutes lasting programme Kraayenhofs musicians will stand in the orchestra-pit. It is not yet sure which other choreographies Hans van Maanen will put in his programme of these nights.For this special programme the formation of Canyengue looks slightly different. The group will be completed by percussionist Frank Wardenier and guitarist André van Berlo.Also our regular musicians Jaap (bass), Emma (violin), Bert (viola) and Juan Pablo (piano) will play this programme with Carel.

After a great tour with Compassion we said goodbye yesterday to Omar Mollo, who wentback to Buenos Aires.
