Carel Kraayenhof & Thirza Lourens to Hong Kong

This weekend Carel Kraayenhof and his wife and manager Thirza Lourens will leave for Hong Kong for concerts on 3 and 4 June. They will have little time to explore the city as tourists, because previous to the rehearsals with the orchestra Carel will have a performance in a television-programme in Hong Kong. It is a great pleasure to Carel that a bandoneonplayer from Hong Kong presented himself and will get a lesson from him. Also previous to the rehearsals Carel and Thirza will be guests in the residence of the Dutch consulate in Hong Kong for a little dinner.

After the concerts Carel and Thirza will travel on to Jakarta where they will have a meeting with the programmers of the Erasmus House there to talk about possible concerts in Indonesia in the future. For Thirza, who has an Indonesian father (Gorontalo/Sulawesi), it would be a dream to let the Kraayenhof Tango Ensemble give concerts in Indonesia.
