Carel Kraayenhof is al veertig jaar innig verbonden met de tango. Samen met zijn compañeros van het Carel Kraayenhof Quartet viert hij dit in een ontroerend en energiek theaterconcert. De mooiste tango’s worden gecombineerd met aanstekelijke en persoonlijke verhalen, verteld door de muzikanten zelf.
Stap samen met de artiesten aan boord van een Europees immigrantenschip om uit te komen in het land van zilver, dat zelfs zilver héét: Argentinië.
Beleef mee hoe de tango ontstaat uit pure noodzaak en hoe deze muziek uitgroeit tot een stijl die alle uithoeken van de wereld bereikt, waaronder natuurlijk Nederland!
